There is a breakdown in the system, within the Soprano family and in Tony's persoanl definition of manhood; it manifests itself in anxiety attacks which result in Tony making regular trips to a psy- chiatrist. The stories in the series stem from each visit. In the first episode we meet Tony and his two families - genetic and mob - and learn why he is seeking psychiatric help. (Synopsis)
